In the beginning two theatre nurses, a deck and a drink in hand,
pondered over the similarities between sterilising and distilling (as one does). The conversation went from drip rate, titrate, condensate to distillate. So our journey into distilling, converting our shed from farm to distillery, provided a useful transition. We hope you enjoy our spirits as much as we have had nursing them to life for you. Cheers!

Steampunk Distillery are supporting Tiaro Landcare Mary River Turtle Project, raising funds for acoustic tags to track juvenile "bum breathers" to further understand their behaviour and survivorship.
We have donated $1000 so far to aid in helping these unique "bum breathing" Mary River Turtles keep cruising the streams.

From humble beginnings.....
We are a home-based business in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. We continue to work in nursing and have a small property with our Angus cattle, orchard & distillery. We thoroughly enjoy the process of distilling and experimenting with our flavours until we are satisfied with the end product. We grow or source many of our botanicals locally.

TIPS & MIXES
Our customers have asked how they should try our spirits. We personally add ice, leave for a couple of minutes to meld and sip it straight. Our ambition is for our customers to be able to drink our spirits however they wish. Using a light tonic or soda (or a mix of both) is recommended, as this will not detract from the gin botanicals.
We have added some of our favourite drink and cocktail recipes for you to scroll thru. If you have one you would like to share we would be happy to add it - with contributor recognition of course.
ARDENT VODKA
Steampunk Espresso Martini
Into your cocktail shaker add:
60ml STEAMPUNK Ardent Vodka
20ml Espresso coffee or coffee liqueur
Ice
Give it a good shake, really good!
Strain...then strain again.
Yum!
Ardent Slide
Into your cocktail shaker add:
30ml STEAMPUNK Ardent Vodka
20ml coffee liqueur or espresso coffee
1/4 cup double cream
1 cup of ice
Give it a shake, pour, enjoy.
A little orange rind is yum too.
Bottoms up!
Get adventurous and try it with Cointreau or another liqueur.
